  • Looking into ministerial opportunities among the growing Indian Telugu Expatriates in our Fellowship, we began a prayer fellowship for this group. This basically aims at bringing families together for prayer, to network and to look forward towards reaching out to the other expatriates from India.

  • Once in a week, we hold a systematic study of the Word mainly for the Telugu folk. This is aimed basically to teach various Biblical topics for the deeper understanding of scriptures, which would be relevant to the families and individuals in their daily life. We are blessed to have Dr Augustine Pagolu, a Telugu himself, who comes to take the Bible Study regularly.

  • Telugu Methodist Church has Christian devotional literature comprising of various books viz., missionary biographies, commentaries, inspirational and devotional books, book marks, stickers, Bible verse- key chains, wall hangings, tracts and Bibles both Telugu and English (various versions). We even have various music CDs and DVDs.

Messages from various renowned Telugu preachers from all over the world are available too. Church Literature at our bookstall serves as an evangelistic tool to reach out to the Telugus in Singapore. Bro Satish looks into this ministry with much joy and enthusiasm.

  • Telugu people enjoy singing and music. In Telugu worship service, we offer to God our praise and thankgiving through various forms and Music is one of them. God has blessed us with many talented musicians. So, pooling in all those talents we have come out with a music album, “El-shaddai”, which serve as evangelistic tool to reachout to our Telugu friends. Pastor Samuel David helped in spearheading this maiden music album for His glory.

  • Every Sunday soon after worship services we have food fellowship, which caters food to nearly 200 over people. This ministry aims at building healthy Christian bonds love and fellowship. More over new friendships are fostered through interaction with one another. Tamil Methodist Church, Tamil Fellowship and Telugu Church come in to make this ministry more lively and enjoyable through their support, service and contributions.

Hearty Welcome to the Gateway of Heaven called

Singapore Telugu Methodist Church

The Singapore Telugu Methodist Church (SGTMC) invites you all in the most precious name of Lord Jesus Christ to join us for fellowship with us and worship of the most high God. The SGTMC is a congregation of the Singapore residents of Telugu origin who love to integrate you into the fold and take you through the abundant love of Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us all come together to worship, pray, sing, intercede, adore, exalt and glorify the most high God and support each other in times of both happiness and hardships. As St.Paul said, united we are better equipped to face the tribulations of life caused by Satan.

SGTMC is not just a building with walls but a place of worship which brings down the walls of Jericho in each of our lives. It is a gathering of believers of Christ committed to the cause of proclaiming the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

We serve a living God who is in our midst as we worship Him and serve one another and the community and in the process we are all blessed, empowered and renewed. We want you all to partake in this wonderful fellowship with God.

Is this not truly a Gateway to Heaven?

Praise be to the Lord! hallelujah! Hosanna!

Love and Peace,
Rev. Anil Samuel ReddiPogu

(Pastor-in-charge)
